Every department communicates with customers. Some use paper documents, others use email, text messages or social media. They are all using their own unique requirements and some probably never heard of your corporate branding. This leads to an uncontrollable mix of different processes within an organization.
Scriptura Engage helps you to streamline and optimize your customer communications by centralizing everything on a single communications platform:

In almost every organization, output processes need to be programmed. This means high costs, additional resources, increased time-to-market and difficulty to maintain.
Scriptura Engage is one central platform to create, simplify, optimize and secure all those different output streams, from document composition and integration to processing and multi-channel delivery - and everything in between! All this is done using graphical interfaces, so no programming is needed to add or change existing output processes. This results in significantly reduced time-to-market if you want to add new communication channels or change existing processes.
The Scriptura Engage Document Platform is based on the principle of document flows.
A document flow visually defines the entire document process from data integration to document delivery.

Document flows consist of steps and connections between these steps. They are designed using a graphical interface, not programmed. Scriptura Engage provides a myriad of steps to build flows: input data selection, page creation, document organizing (sorting, merging, splitting, …), output format selection and output delivery (print, web, e-mail, fax, FTP, …). A step can handle the data in any way it wants: create pages from incoming data, add a bar code on incoming pages, create PDF output from incoming pages, sort incoming pages on zip-code, split the incoming pages in groups of 5 pages to fit in an envelope ... . And organizations can define their own specific steps, that can be reused in different output processes.
Every step defines what type(s) of input it expects and what type of output it will deliver. Scriptura makes sure that only valid flows are created, where the input and output types of subsequent steps match. To configure the behavior, a step has properties, e.g. configure an e-mail step to specify who the recipients of the e-mail are.
The connections transport any type of data from one step to the other. These packets of data are called flow objects. You can add conditional logic to a connection to specify whether the flow object must be passed to the next step or not, e.g. only send an email if the email address is known and in all other cases, print and put in an envelope for postal services.
