A new face to face meeting of the XForms WG is at hand and I’m looking forward to representing Inventive designers there.
The first two days (November 2-3) will take place in conjunction with W3C TPAC 2009 at Santa Clara, California, USA. After the Technical Plenary day the group will continue its meeting on November 5th for two more days at PARC (Palo Alto Research Center). These last two days will be hosted by Xerox.
During the meetings the XForms WG will continue to work on XForms 1.2 features (XPath 2.0, dialogs, custom XPath functions, JSON integration, …), but also do some work on XForms 2.0 (two-directional constraints between XML sub-trees, Components, enhanced UI events, …). During the first two days the XForms WG will also meet with other W3C Working Groups to ensure that the various W3C specifications work nicely together.
