This optional feature of EverGreen/400 allows users to communicate with remote servers accessible through a LAN connection.

Remote servers

Besides the standard server support for Lotus Domino for AS/400 and AnyMail/400 installed on the same system as EverGreen/400, this feature allows users to connect to other servers on remote systems. Some examples : Lotus Domino on another AS/400, Microsoft Exchange on a PC based server, any standard POP3/SMTP server on any platform.
